After 25 years at Nuffield Health and the last year at Virgin Active Repton Park, I only joined Titanium Gym as a temporary stop-gap while I looked for somewhere more permanent. One month later, I've stopped looking. I felt at home from my very first session. The range of equipment is exactly what I was looking for. Multiple T-bar row stations, squat rack machines, and a fantastic mix of free weights and machines, including equipment I've genuinely not seen in other gyms. You can tell this gym has been built by people who actually train. Titanium is a proper old-school bodybuilding gym, and for where I am in my fitness journey right now, it's perfect. Yes, you won't find a swimming pool, steam room or sauna here, but honestly, I don't have time for those things anymore. I just want to train hard, push some serious weight, and get out. Titanium delivers exactly that. What really stands out is the atmosphere. The people who train here are serious gym-goers. They know what they're doing, they're focused, dedicated and there to work. There's no standing around, no messing about, just people putting the effort in. Being around that kind of environment is incredibly motivating. The staff are welcoming, the members are friendly, and the whole place has a genuine community feel to it. What started as a temporary solution has become my long-term gym. I'll be training here for many years to come. Highly recommended.

A fantastic selection of isolated muscle building machines, free weights and cardio equipment. Easy sign up! Everyone treats each other with respect, great old school Arnold gym, 💪🏼

Good gym, nice vibe, friendly atmosphere. Very well equipped for all types of workouts. Lovely layout. I'd say it's probably better equipped than most commercial gyms

Health and safety concerns. Been a member at this gym for roughly a year now, the main focus was rehabbing a knee surgery. Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll be returning due to the health and safety concerns and nearly slipping with 120kg on my back during back squats. There are leaks all over the gym and the preacher curl machine was out of action for months, it seems like this gym is only good for those who use dumbbells and a select few machines. God forbid something breaks, you’ll be waiting a long time for it to be back. However, one of the best things they have are very niche bodybuilding machines such as the plate loaded lat pulldown, dip machine & chest press. But if you’re there to build power and raw strength it’s an afterthought. The leaks occur next the one squat rack, and yes there is another squat rack too but the bar is bent and has been during the entire duration I have been a member. You also cannot use a bench there for flat barbell bench press with safety bars, a huge drawback for someone who wants to push their 1RM without a spotter. Also, there are only a handful of bumper plates for deadlifting and the platform is very beat up causing the bar to roll (another injury risk). The older cable pulleys are very stiff and can cause injuries due to the unpredictable resistance, it definitely has done a number on my rotator cuff muscles. I need to make it clear, the staff are absolutely world class, they are the reason why I stayed as long as I did, but honestly I am not sure how this place has a license to operate with all these leaks. Over the month of November and December I found myself spending extra money on day passes and travel to go to other gyms despite being a member here and a 20 minute walk away. This says a lot, weight lifting is a passion of mine and this place has unfortunately made it feel more of a burden. Please be careful of your safety if you sign up here. Also, it’s £37… you can get a cheaper membership elsewhere and get much better equipment. I recommend The Gym Group, PureGym, Anytime Fitness Loughton, Muscleworks, Nuffield. All of these do not have leaks and have proper health and safety standards and reliable equipment.
