It is a really good and nice gym. Staff is very friendly and helpful. And affordable monthly charge as well. If you like a quiet atmosphere you have to go before 1.00pm. Other times are also OK.

Good value gym, open at convenient times and never terribly busy. Probably the cheapest in the Hendon area. Equipment is varied and well kept but the space itself is very small and crammed with very little natural light. Coaches are generally nice and friendly but the main issue is the crowd that go. If you go at a more abstract time you see the regulars who are always happy to chat but if you go at peak times for the students you get a lot of unfriendly and sometimes even aggressive lads who make working out a very unpleasant experience. There is also a distinct lack of rule enforcement in particular the wearing of appropriate footwear. Many walk around the free weight section barefoot / socks which is not only unhygienic but dangerous. Changing facilities are reasonably well kept apart from the showers which have insufficient drainage meaning stagnant water collects making it unpleasant unless you are the first in in the morning.

I'm very disappointed with the service provided by the manager and deputy manager at the university gym. I've been a customer for years and have always received great service, but recently there have been issues. The manager falsely accused me of something and used it as a pretext to suspend my gym membership, which had been free for years due to my basketball trophies. The customer service representative and deputy manager assured me on multiple occasions that I didn't need to add funds to my membership card because I had credit, but after a year and a half, they suddenly claimed they needed payment. Overall, this experience has been very frustrating and I don't recommend using the university sports gym due to their lack of understanding and poor management. I am extremely dissatisfied with the service provided by the manager and deputy manager at the university gym. Despite being a loyal customer for many years, I recently encountered some serious issues with their conduct. The manager made false allegations against me, leading to the suspension of my long-standing and complimentary gym membership, which had been granted due to my history of winning basketball trophies. Despite being reassured by both the customer service representative and the deputy manager on multiple occasions that there was no need to add funds to my membership card because I had credit, I was suddenly informed after a year and a half that payment was now required. This entire situation has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I strongly advise against using the university sports gym due to their lack of competence and mismanagement
