Fisioplus Centro de Fisioterapia Y Pilates

Spain

This is a physiotherapy clinic, not a gym

Let me clear this up in the first line: Fisioplus, on Passeig de Sant Joan in Barcelona's Eixample, is a physiotherapy and Pilates practice, and the listing tags back that up with "medical_clinic." Every single review is about hands-on treatment from one physiotherapist named Zoe, not about a workout floor. So if you're picturing squat racks and a membership card, that's the wrong picture. If you're dealing with pain, an injury, or recovery, this page might actually be for you.

I want to be fair about what the 4.8 average across 8 ratings really represents. Eight is a tiny sample. One unhappy visit would drag that number down hard. But the written reviews are unusually detailed for a clinic this small, and they all point the same direction.

What people came for

The pattern is rehab and one-on-one physio. A patient in September 2025 wrote, "they have been treating me for a year, my family and I are very happy thanks to them. After an accident, I am better than the first day." Another, in September 2020, described going in expecting a long haul and getting sorted fast: "I came to her thinking I'd need a lot of sessions to correct my problem, and she sorted me out in one visit! She knows tons about how to make bodies work better. 110% would recommend!"

The oldest review on file, from March 2019, adds a detail I find telling: "apart from the brilliant treatment she always gives you homework to do, encouraging you to take care of yourself." That's a physio who sends you home with exercises, not just a table-and-massage operation. A visitor in October 2025 summed up the tone: "I feel very safe under Zoe's care. She has a wonderful calm energy."

What that average is really measuring

Every named review here credits the same practitioner. That's the thing to understand before you book. You're not buying access to a facility; you're buying time with a specific therapist who reviewers say draws on "so many different techniques." The 4.8 is a rating of a person's hands and manner, spread across a handful of loyal patients, some of whom say they've come back for years. That's a selective, self-selecting sample, and it's worth knowing that going in.

What's missing

No review lists a price per session, and physiotherapy in central Barcelona isn't cheap. Nobody mentions insurance, cancellation terms, or whether the Pilates side runs as classes or private sessions. The hours on file cover Monday through Thursday, 9:00 to 20:00, with no Friday or weekend listed, so confirm availability before you count on a slot. Phone is +34 687 03 30 17.

Who it's not for

Anyone looking for a self-service gym, open-floor cardio, or a place to lift on your own schedule. This is appointment-based clinical care. It's also worth asking, if you'd specifically want a different therapist or a male physio, whether that's even an option here, since the reviews only describe one.

FAQ

Is Fisioplus a gym I can get a membership at?

No. It's a physiotherapy and Pilates clinic. Reviews describe treatment sessions and rehab, not gym-floor access or memberships.

What do people go to Fisioplus for?

Injury recovery and pain treatment, mostly. Patients mention post-accident rehab, back pain, and muscle activation work, all with a hands-on physiotherapist who also assigns at-home exercises.

How much does a session cost?

No review states a price. You'll need to call +34 687 03 30 17 for current rates and to check availability, since only weekday hours are listed.

Zoe is AMAZING! She has helped me a lot, I have better body control and ability to activate muscles in my body that before were not responding. Going to see Zoe is always a great time, she cheers you up if you are having road bumps and give you that little push to see all the great progress and wanting to continue with the road back to 100%. I would recommend Zoe to anyone who wants a pain free body and getting tools that you can work with at your own.
