The trainers at LadiesGym are incredibly kind and empathetic, and the classes have a fun, cheerful, and relaxed atmosphere. There's no room for laziness, though, as the trainers carefully supervise the exercises and effectively motivate me. At first, it was hard for me to motivate myself to come, but because I work out with only women and the atmosphere is so relaxed, I know I'll keep going.
One thing is certain: despite these honey-drenched reviews (don't believe those five-star miracles on a stick—they're well-paid for), the truth is you won't lose weight. It's a waste of money. The club is dirty, the equipment is old, and the exercises aren't age-appropriate (the same for twenty-somethings as for sixty-somethings). If you want to work out in the evening, forget it. The geriatric club opens at 7:30 PM and starts ripping out mats from under your back at a quarter past seven. I absolutely don't recommend it.
