Awesome gym! I came to just try out with a day pass and later that day became a member. The setting is very old school and hardcore. The owner, trainers, and members are very welcoming. My daughter loves coming to get in some extra training on the turf area. They had a competition going on which me and my daughter caught at the tail end and she loved it. Seeing the women lifting heavy weight caught her interest. The training I been receiving from Roger is outstanding. Everyone thinks they train hard until they actually have someone to push them many levels up from their normal training. We found our gym, we're not going anywhere else. 💪🏽
Great private gym with all the bells and whistles. They have specialty bars comp weights and 24/7 access. Management made lots of great upgrades. Train here for many years great training atmosphere experience. Whenever you want to train with a little more grit change from normal global gyms. Drop in.
A San Antonio hallmark since 1988. Roger the owner is the most stand up guy you've ever met. Constantly improving the gym and providing for his clients needs. Get all your personal training, meal prep, and supplements here. Serious gym for people serious about training. Great music, inspiring atmosphere, can't say enough good things about this place.
I've been coming here for the past 3 months and I can say for the price they charge you, you can not beat it the care for your goals are a priority here whether it's from the staff or the people around you they are the prime definition of community.
Old school gym with older equipment BUT definitely worth the visit. If you're in the area visiting and are into nostalgic gyms JOES Gym is worth checking out.
