I've been going to Pursuit for a little over a year now and working with personal trainer Connor. He has me in the best shape of my life, which is a lot to say as a man in my 60s. I should have started working with these great people years ago. The gym is well-equipped, Connor keeps my workouts interesting and challenging and I love the friendly vibe that Connor, Russ and the other trainers create here. This is my kind of gym.
I will be a member of Pursuit Fitness for as long as I live in Columbus! I became a member almost 2 years ago and started out with a few months of working with Russ (owner) to kickstart my own strength training journey. I had a great experience, and though I no longer do personal training, I can assure anyone that Russ and his team are incredibly supportive and all around awesome people to train with. Pursuit has an approachable atmosphere and is great for those who might feel overwhelmed at commercial gyms or just wants a low-key place to focus on their training regimen. I’ve never had any problems at this gym! People mind their own business and are always friendly. Thanks Russ, for creating a gym I love so much that I felt prompted to write my first ever Google review. :)
Joined about 6 months ago & have really enjoyed my experience here. It’s a small gym with just the right amount of equipment & people. It never feels crowded (even during peak hrs), the staff is friendly, & the price per month is very reasonable. 100% would rather belong here than a commercial gym. Bonus points for the fact there are no creepy men & everyone really keeps to themselves. The enviornment is great!!
I cannot recommend Pursuit Fitness highly enough. It is a place where everyone is welcome to be who they are, without worry of judgment from anyone else. People of all ages and from all walks of life belong to Pursuit, and this is clearly a goal that the owner, Russ, wanted and has achieved. I felt at home right away. I am lucky to work with Eric as my trainer. He is kind, easy-going, and motivating, and he knows how to put your goals into an exciting plan of action that makes going to the gym, dare I say, fun. For the first time in my life, I look forward to going to the gym.
