Only come here occasionally as a guest from the UK. Very nice and generous staff and generally a welcoming atmosphere. All the equipment works well and the facilities are clean. I mostly work out there in the morning when it's quite, so never saw it overcrowded. Great gym!
I started going after the other gym near me closed. This place is good, but its so busy. I am unsure if the local school offers a discount or vice versa. It has a lot of students here in the afternoon during the week that can make using a locker almost impossible. The equipment is good, and i’ve never had issues otherwise. EDIT after some months. The locker rooms appear to never be vacuumed. The same dust is in the same place since i started visiting in October 2024! EDIT++ Seems it‘s now ok to just leave your stuff all over the locker rooms! This is really uncool.
Extremely disappointed, on ladies sauna day a male staff entered while I'm half naked without asking permission beforehand. No respect for ladies. Shower rooms are Extremely dirty and smelly.
The only thing I can say about this place is that it's a waste of space. The location is fantastic, with a fantastic terrace overlooking the park, but the interior is a disaster. It's gloomy, stuffy, with moldy-smelling showers and terrible music created by Suno that torture people. It's a shame there's no alternative in Jülich. That's why I prefer walking and exercising outdoors to wasting time and money here. Maybe if they reopen the bar with music and dancing, it will be worth returning.
