Dr Lewis Raiman is an excellent doctor. As a patient, I genuinely feel heard—he takes the time to listen and treats me as a whole person, not just a collection of symptoms. With so many things going wrong with my body all at once, that approach means a great deal to me. He also has a wonderful demeanour. Appointments feel less clinical and more like having a good, honest conversation with someone you trust—like a friend who truly listens and asks the right questions to understand what you’re going through. From there, he does everything he can to investigate thoroughly and support you in every possible way. I feel very fortunate to be under his care.

My partner was referred here for an mri scan, after waiting 8 weeks for an appointment, he arrived early to be told the mri scanner is not working and they would need to reschedule him for another appointment. They have no available appointments until next year. Despite telling them he is in severe pain and has already been waiting months, this is not his fault, the company should be able to rectify and offer an appointment as a matter of urgency to make up for the fact he has not received the care he was supposed to, they insisted nothing could be done, he would have to wait until next year. I then called them back 10 minutes later and asked them what availability they have for a private mri scan and was told he can be seen as soon as tomorrow at the same facility. I questioned why they have a better attitude in handling their private customers and availability for people willing to hand over hundreds of pounds, but NHS patients are placed on extremely long waiting lists, kept in severe, debilitating pain and treated like a lesser human for using a health service. I then said so you are telling me if you pay, you will be treated better and differently, to which the lady responded, yes unfortunately that’s just how it is. I am disgusted by the blatant discrimination and that there was no effort on their part to rectify the fact they could not carry out the initial examination they guaranteed to on date and time booked with us and refuse to do anything to make it better and then proceeded to enforce a massive class divide and discrimination against nhs patients/lower income individuals. Patient care and quality of care is above most, but they are more interested in financial gain then actually genuinely caring and providing an exceptional health service.
