Out of all the gyms I've had memberships at this one is the best. Whenever I'm going in to squat there is a squat rack availabe and for the most part always a bench too so you can get chest in. Cardio machines are always availabe in quantity and variety
I love this place. It is a great gym for weightlifting. My one complaint is that it the WiFi seems to be too weak or has some other problem. I usually cannot log on, and my cell service is poor at the location, so I often times don’t have access to music.
Great gym to work out in if you have a focus on weight lifting. There is a great free weight area and weight machine area as well. Staff is friendly and helpful. Could use another squat rack. The single squat rack is almost always in use, but that's expected. My only real complaint is that I always have issues with the wifi. It seems like when the gym is crowded, I cannot log onto the wifi, while I have no issues when it is less crowded. Not sure what the issue is, but I'm sure others have the problem as well.
I've been a member for the last 11 years. I've selected this fitness center based on location, monthly dues and the fact that you're not held to a contract. They have the place packed with various cardio equipment, free weights, hammer strength and life fitness machines. The staff is very friendly and the prices are the best in town. With that said, you won't find showers and locker rooms at this price. This isn't an important issue to me, nor is it to anyone else who is a member here, or they wouldn't have joined. Their are a couple of potential issues though. This isn't a 24 hour access gym, at least not of the time of this review. Secondly, this facility is quite popular and therefore it can get pretty crowded. Overall, I've been happy there or I wouldn't have stayed there for the last 11 years.
I've recently joined. It is one of the cheapest gyms in the area for what I get. I mostly focus on lifting and others I'm pretty sure would want to know more, so just go in an ask. One negative I do have is the amount of space there is. When I deadlift, I feel like I'm in everybody's way. Other than that, price is good, people are good so far, and if you go in the morning or early afternoon, you wont find that many people there.
West Valley Fitness holds 4.2 out of 5 across 62 Google reviews. Read a few of them rather than the average alone, since a single score hides whether people are praising the equipment or the staff.
