I have been going to this gym for almost a year now and I am greatly enjoying it. The friendly staff and members make it such a bonus going every time. It's clean and has all the equipment you need. Being close to me as well, it's perfect!

Joined snap a good few months ago now, I have had a very good experience there myself, the staff are brilliant and very passionate about what they do. The gym does need an overhaul in some areas yes, but I find it very handy being 24 hours and being able to come and go when I please. Would recommend the gym if you want a good friendly vibe and not so manically busy you can't get on any machines for hours!

I can't recommend Snap Fitness Chippenham enough! The gym is always clean, well-equipped, and has a really friendly atmosphere. There's a great range of equipment whether you're into weights, cardio, or classes, and it never feels intimidating. It's also fantastic value for money. For the quality of the facilities, the convenience, and the overall experience, you really get a lot for your membership. A special mention has to go to Paris on the front desk. She always makes you feel so welcome from the moment you walk in. She's polite, friendly, and genuinely helpful, which makes such a difference. It's those little touches that turn a good gym into a great one. If you're looking for a supportive, well-run gym in Chippenham, this is definitely the place to be! 💪

Awful management worst cancellation progress they will try to charge you extra for anything and everything they can lights have needed cleaning for years toilets constantly out of order tvs never working or switched on which makes it look even more dark and dingy there has also been no new equipment for the past 3 - 4 years I've been at the gym would heavily avoid at all costs very poorly ran gym still even after a change in management again! Update : At no point did I say the cleaner was doing a bad job. My point was that the lighting clearly needs cleaning or replacing, as the yellow tone from the dirt that has built up over the years makes the gym feel dark and dingy. I also mentioned the toilets constantly being out of order, which has genuinely been the case for the majority of the time I've been a member. Another issue is the repeated charges for replacement gym cards, when most gyms now offer digital access through an app or phone pass. From a customer perspective, it feels outdated and more like a ploy to get more money out of your members. You mention improvements under the new management, but aside from an increase in classes, I honestly haven't seen much change. For members who don't attend classes, the reality is that a lot of the machine attachments and gym accessories are either broken or close to breaking, and they still haven't been replaced. Considering the price members pay, I think the overall standard is disappointing and not reflective of what people would reasonably expect from the gym. The lack of accountability in your response, combined with the fact that it doesn't seem like you actually took the time to properly read or understand what I wrote, really says everything. Deflecting the issue back onto me instead of addressing the concerns that were raised only further reinforces my point about poor management and a complete lack of genuine reflection or accountability.

Declining Standards & Poor Management My experience at this gym has been consistently disappointing. The facilities are clearly deteriorating - the showers smell, leaking roof with buckets out, multiple TVs are broken, and the WiFi simply does not work. These are basic expectations for any modern gym, yet they remain unresolved. When I raised concerns, the situation was handled unprofessionally. The manager, P**ris, approached me mid-workout in what was a packed gym and later claimed "nobody was around." That simply wasn't accurate. Being confronted in that setting felt inappropriate and unnecessary. Issues should be addressed privately and professionally, not in a way that makes members uncomfortable. There appears to be little accountability and no proactive effort to improve standards. With several better-equipped and better-managed options now available in town, this gym feels like it's unfortunately on its way out unless serious changes are made. I expected higher standards and a more member-focused approach.
