Stunning view across the Mersey from gym floor is worth paying for by itself. Gym equipment isn't five star however, the pool and jacuzzi are outstanding. An ice cold shower gives a glorious freeze effect before the steam room and jacuzzi. The staff are classic scousers - warm, friendly and went out of their way to make my short membership memorable. Fantastic little find!
Gym with ample amenities including cardio machines, resistance machines, free weights, group fitness classes, pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. The equipment isn't the newest but it's adequate for most. The gym is also attached to, and serves as the hotel gym for, the Crowne Plaza.
Signing up for this gym but an FYI to anyone wanting to join too- the email/phone communication is non-existent and you can’t get a hold of anyone. I’ve been into the gym to sign up physically yesterday and they don’t seem to know what’s going on, I really am wanting to join for the amenities and classes but at its price point I’m struggling to commit as there’s no reassurance/ reliability
The administrator refused to let me visit the gym, they don't sell day passes. When I asked the receptionist why they couldn't sell a day pass to the gym, she told me that it was the hotel's policy. And the receptionist didn't care that I would write a bad review. Considering that today is a festive mood, 12/31/2024, my mood was ruined.
Imagine you pay £45 per month and you get the worst equipment in the town. Most of the gym equipment is rusted as you never know if the machines going to work or not. So they might break on you and you get a major injury. These pictures are just the part of and as a plus there is ONLY 1 hair dryer available and that only gives cold air. So if you are thinking about signing up, you might wanna go somewhere else..
