Great gym! The owner is friendly, it's always clean, and 24-hour access is a huge plus (not many in the area). Plenty of cardio and weightlifting equipment available including a deep dumbbell rack. Highly recommend!
Smaller in size. But decent equipment. Dumbbells up to 100 lbs. Mostly machine equipment. Tanning available, but you have to pay extra monthly for it. Always clean. Not usually, terribly busy. If you go between the hours of 4-7pm it can be a little busy. Staff is always friendly and helpful when present.
Hey Dar, I've been trying to reach out to you to cancel my membership. I sent you emails and called this location that I was going to. I guess you aren't checking your emails or voicemails so I don't know of any other way to reach you other than leaving a review. I haven't been to your gym in about a year and I would like to cancel my membership. Please reach out to let me know what I need to do. Thanks!
DON'T JOIN! BEWARE OF OWNER! MY ACCESS CARD WOULD NOT WORK. I TEXTED DAR A PICTURE OF THE BANK VERIFYING THE SNAP PAYMENT. DAR CALLED ME AND CANCELLED MY MEMBERSHIP AND THREATENED TO PHYSICALLY HARM ME, DAR SAID "I DARE YOU TO MEET ME AT THE GYM AND SEE HOW TOUGH YOU ARE". I SAID "DUDE IM THERE TRYING TO GET IN LOL". DAR ALSO COMPLAINED TO ME THAT HE WORKS OTHER JOBS AND THIRD SHIFT. DAR SAID THAT HE DOES NOT HAVE TIME NOR THE PATIENCE FOR THE GYM AND ESPECIALLY THE MEMBERS WITH ACCESS CARD PROBLEMS. DAR REFUSED TO APOLOGIZE FOR THE INCONVENIENCE THAT BEING UNABLE ACCESS THE GYM CAUSED ME THIS MORNING. DAR WAS ALSO VERY UPSET THAT SOMEONE, SUCH AS A WORKOUT PARTNER, OR A GOOD FRIEND WOULD OPEN THE DOOR TO ALLOW YOU TO WORK OUT AS OBVIOUSLY DAR NOR ANYONE IS AVAILABLE TO HELP WITH THE ACCESS CARD PROBLEM. SNAP CORPORATE IS EVEN WORSE! .... SO YOU WILL BE STUCK TRYING TO WORK DIRECTLY WITH DAR WHO DOES NOT WANT TO BE AT THE GYM NOR HELP HIS MEMBERS. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ACCESS THE GYM YOU PAID IN ADVANCE FOR! YOU WILL HAVE AN AWFUL TIME TRYING TO CANCEL YOUR MEMBERSHIP AND IT WILL REQUIRE YOU TO MEET WITH DAR! AGAIN GOOD LUCK BECAUSE HE WOULDN'T EVEN HELP ME GET IN THE GYM LOL! ...you might want a lawyer and the police! ... I PAID AND HAD THIS MUCH PROBLEMS! FILTHY GYM! I HAVE NOT EVEN GOT TO THE FACT THAT THE GYM IS A DUMP!... DAR NEVER CLEANS AND BATHROOMS ARE DISGUSTING AND WITHOUT PAPER! TOENAIL CLIPPINGS HAVE BEEN SCATTERED NEAR EQUIPMENT FOR YEARS! OMG DISGUSTING! MY ANKLES WERE EATEN ALIVE BY ANTS LAST MONTH. EQUIPMENT IS TEARING AND NEEDS REPAIRS TOO. BEWARE! I FEEL BLESSED THAT DAR CANCELLED MY MEMBERSHIP FOR ME LOL.
I cancelled my membership last month and was charged again June 1 (yesterday). The attachments are terrible . The treadmills don't incline past 5 or don't work at all. Limited equipment and variation of machines .They only have 1 bathroom for each male and female with literally 1 toilet and no locker rooms. No showers available. Owners never available when contacted. This is the Holland location not sure about the Allendale or grand rapids locations.
