Been fishing for a while, first time using a guide. It was worth every penny. Learned so much from Matt, he put us on the whitefish and we went home with our limit. Would recommend anyone that enjoys fishing. Will go again for different species in the future!

I’ve had the pleasure of fishing walleye in the summer and whitefish in the winter with Matt (Outdoor Junky) and I not only had an amazing time and lots of laughs, I had two amazing days fishing. More importantly, I left with a new knowledge of how to have many more successful days on the water when I return. He has the patience needed to teach something he clearly has spent many years learning! I can tell you first hand that his line of tackle will make a huge difference in my fishing game going forward. Matt has taken myself and some friends on trips both on ice and open water. We are fairly avid in fishing but wanted some tips on specific species and his line of tackle. I can say and I know my friends agree that Matt did an amazing job of both putting us on fish and explaining how to target fish in varrying waters, weather patterns and seasons. We are now all converts to his line of tackle that is well designed and built to catch fish. Thanks again Matt for some great days on the water/ice and your professionalism as a fishing guide!
My boyfriend and I booked the Lake Simcoe ice fishing trip with Matt and had such a great time. Neither of us had ever been ice fishing, matt did a great job of teaching us the technique and putting us on fish. He’s a super nice guy, provided all the equipment needed and had lots of knowledge about all things fishing! We would definitely be interested in going on more trips with outdoor junkies!!
