Hani Joa Day Spa

Let me start by saying this place is the best place that I have ever been to. I went here with my wife for the first time and did not know what it was going to be like. I'm glad I did because that night we left there we felt like new people feeling 10 years younger. I do not remember the nice lady's name who greeted us but we felt welcomed the minute we arrived. We arrived early but she still got us ready for the couple's body scrub and massage. Basically we hit the sauna room for about 10 minutes and then headed into the jacuzzi. I just wished it was the bigger one of the two since I'm a bit tall but still was ok. Then came the cool part where we got on the table and they went to town. I think I lost a pound of skin I never knew could be scrubed off. We were rinsed off and then massaged for a while. It was the best. I recommend this place to any couple as we will go back on the regular.

This is my third visit here, and first of all the new facilities are a welcome. The primary facilities are upstairs and are for women, so there are two hot tubs and a steam room. Men can use the hot tub if you make appointments on Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday; otherwise the downstairs facilities have a steam room. I made my visit on a Monday in advance and had the place to myself, since it is normally closed except with appointments. I had Kay, who was kind enough to let me inside well before my appointment to use both the hot tub and steam room. Kay was very professional, giving me an invigorating and thorough body scrub and shampoo for roughly one hour, which included hot towels and pouring pails full of hot water. . She scrubbed most of my body, covering all but the parts that of course are off-limits. I skipped the face part of the scrub in order to add a few precious minutes of the massage. During the massage she tugged at some of my more stubborn muscles, followed by coating parts of my body with warm oil in a relaxing rub. Following this there were hot showers to rinse off, followed by a clean and roomy changing area. I walked out of Hani Joa feeling relaxed and refreshed. The staff overall is wonderful and accommodating and I will be sure to come back. They also have couples packages, and would love to bring my wife here.

Excellent experience in every way! I loved my Korean Scrub which included a wonderful massage! I have had many Korean scrubs, mostly in Arlington and NYC. I rate this spa above all others. The scrubber/massage therapist applied just the right amount of pressure. Her hands were magical. She spoke English and accommodated all my requests. The new owner has totally and I mean totally renovated the spa - tranquil and functional. And you'd be supporting a young female entrepreneur! Give it a try & you won't be sorry.

I love this place I got an exfoliation and I feel like I have brand new skin. The staff was courteous and kind. The woman I had was really good at her job she scrubbed me everywhere. If you are looking for a fancy place with relaxing music turn around. This is definitely a no frills hole in the wall place and it could use some renovation. But if you are looking for a good experience and a good exfoliation at a decent price this is the place for you.

It doesn't worth the visit any more after new owner, new management and most importantly new service staffs. The classic 55min scrub now turns into 15min steam room plus 30min scrub... with the same price. And there are no longer Korean staffs who know how to do the scrubs the right way.
