I had a great experience with VIDA Ballston. Super easy to join and super easy to un-join (sadly) when my job took me overseas. The classes were excellent - I particularly like yoga with Aggie and Barre with Lizzie. SweatBox with Gwen was challenging but very rewarding. Staff was very friendly and the locker rooms were pristine and calming. I’m very sad to be leaving but I’m sure I will return someday when I’m back in the area.
I've been working out at Vida Ballston for over 2 years and its been phenomenal. I particularly enjoy the Sweat Box classes. If you're looking for an intense workout, this is for you. Gwen, Mike, and the team always prepare a challenging 60 minute nonstop routine that combines cardio and strength training. They'll keep you motivated as you cycle, lift, use your body weight, etc. in a specially designed space outfitted with visceral lighting and sonics to enhance the experience. Additionally, the Vida staff is friendly and attentive. The gym has tons of weights, racks, machines, etc. to help fulfill your fitness desires. Plus there's a sauna, steam room, and smoothie bar. The spaces, especially the locker room, are always pristine. Check it out!
I’ve been a member of Vida Fitness Ballston for over two years and have had nothing but great experiences. The equipment and locker rooms are always clean and well maintained, and machines are updated regularly, which keeps the space feeling fresh and new. What truly sets Vida apart is the staff. I’ve been to many gyms, and I’ve never encountered a team as friendly and welcoming. Every visit starts and ends with a warm greeting, which makes a noticeable difference. I would highly recommend Vida to anyone looking for a high quality gym with high quality people.
I’ve been to all of the VIDA locations around the area, and this Ballston one is definitely one of my favorites. The place is always clean, well kept, and has a really good vibe every time I come in. Everyone there is friendly and welcoming, which makes a big difference. Special shoutout to the manager Andy and to Freddie as well - they’re both always helpful, approachable, and you can tell they really care about the members. Overall just a great experience.
Great gym, but they terminated my membership during COVID for declining their required medical intervention. No respect for personal health choices or bodily autonomy. Plenty of better options that don’t discriminate.
