Munroe Regional Medical Center LifeTime Center

I recently joined Lifetime Fitness Center. After a sudden shoulder injury, my orthopedic doctor recommended some shoulder exercises with resistance bands. I had never used resistance bands before and was hesitant about returning to the gym and exacerbating the shoulder condition. Dave, one of Lifetime's exercise physiologists, spent time with me, explaining how to use the bands, supervised me using them and encouraged me. After my workout that day, my shoulder already felt better! The staff at Lifetime is experienced, knowledgeable and pleasant. The fitness center is clean. Lifetime has met and exceeded my expectations.

This truly is a great facility wth all the amenities it has to offer. Great exercise equipment, huge beautiful pool with many hydro therapy programs, but the physical therapist there are very aloof and kind of make you feel that you are intruding. I never did get my hydro therapy which I desperately need. My therapist Jen told me she was going to get it approved and instead signed me off as completed. The girls at physical therapy reception I must admit were great. Now if you go there with a membership to use that part of the facility people seemed very content. I am very hesitant about going back for physical therapy because I felt more like an intruder than a welcomed patient getting help!

A nice facility but staffed very poorly. They are more concerned about quantity of patients than quality of service. They rush rush rush you out of there in 30 minutes. One minute over and they walk away from you to the next person. They make up insurance details to suit their schedule. Front office staff of 4-5 people don't have patient people skills. One PT tech named Toni was excellent but has to conform to their schedule of Quanity not quality of service. What a shame for such a nice facility. Smh!!!!!!
