This gym is great; I go every day. I used to go to a gym in the city and was never satisfied, but I really love coming here. Everyone is respectful and friendly; I would recommend it to anyone.
Lovely friendly gym, very welcoming for all age demographics. Added bonus of a light and airy cafe selling a good variety of coffee's, cold drinks, protein shakes, and hot and cold food.
I love this gym. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is really chilled everyone is friendly and respectful. Especially being a maturer person I was wary about being in this enviroment again.Great equipment, space and classes available too. Lucky to have this on my doorstep wish I had joined sooner. Wish the spa was open as well.
Positives for her are the staff in this place are very welcoming, the place is quite clean overall and when something breaks they usually have it fixed pretty quickly. The equipment is in great shape, there's a very friendly atmosphere in there and there's lots of parking(after 5 on weekdays). I think it's good value for money too. Negatives for me is there's not too much equipment, only one bench press, no squat rack (just a smiths one and a leg press), no machine for calves, no free weight lat pull down (for adjustable grips). Id count these as necessary gym items. I think if they relaid it slightly they might get more in there but they are short on space. I've come from a body building gym to here so if you're looking for that kind of gym it may be lacking but if you're looking for a fitness gym this is perfect. Other slight grievances would be the jacuzzi could be hotter and opening hours being poor on weekends. They close at 4 on Saturdays and 12 on Sundays. Overall I'd recommend this gym.
Avoid this gym if you can. Sadly with little other options locally you may be left with only this as we were. Equipment is often out of service or broken for long periods of time. Staff are non existent, it is impossible to get help on any membership related issues, god forbid you needed them in an emergency. There is a stench coming from the water cooler that is almost vomit inducing if using the rowing machines.
