The fitness instructors here are fantastic! The pool is always clean and the staff members here are amazing (Tara, Polly and Kirsty) really make this place for me.
The facilities are good and the staff are helpful. the car park gets full pretty quickly and there are no signs clearly visible that you need to enter your reg number inside, If you don't you could end up with a parking ticket.
Been meaning to say so finally saying how much I appreciate this Sports Centre for its lovely swimming pool , pool side sauna room, gym and on top of this, the very welcoming and supportive staff who are without exception so nice and helpful and really make a difference
Nice swimming pool and polite staff. The gym is clean but gets very smelly when there are more people, the music in the gym is far too loud. The activity lessons are good but it gets booked very quickly and if you leave your name on the waiting list you might get a place 1 hour prior to the lesson which is no use. I will move to another centre if things don't improve.
The head receptionist is just plain rude and has a god complex. Asked multiple times about the rules surrounding disabled members and the services available before signing up. The head receptionist, aptly named Karen, decided to change these rules to myself specifically, based upon her own self-perceived perception of what she constitutes a disability. The new 'rules' left me unable to use the services I paid for. Ableist, and discriminatory. Edit: I must admit I laughed reading the reply regarding being 'committed to providing a respectful and inclusive environment'. If you were that committed, you would never alienate disabled members in the first place; especially through ableism and discrimination which left me embarrassed and targeted. I cancelled my membership and moved to a gym that is actually committed to providing a respectful and inclusive environment.
