Fit For Life Fitness Center shows 4.5 from 27 reviews, and its five written reviews describe a small, full-service gym where a genuinely large number of staff members get named directly for specific classes and services.

A Post-Reopening Cleanliness Concern, Named Specifically

Henry Kurusz's review raises something worth reading first, since it's about shared-space hygiene rather than the facility itself: "Since the reopening I have made it a point to work out in the off hours: fewer people with more spacing. The one significant concern is my fellow members' cleanliness. I have only witnessed two other individuals cleaning the equipment they just used before they walk out the door. It is enough of a concern that if I do not see more efforts by others using the facility I will have to strongly think about changing gyms." I'd flag this as a member-behavior issue rather than a facility failure - he's not blaming the gym's own cleaning standards, but the habits of other people using it, which is a real but different kind of concern to weigh.

Named Instructors, Across Multiple Reviews

This is an unusually staff-heavy set of reviews for a gym with only 27 total ratings. Onalee Israel: "Really enjoy Eileen's Plyojam/strength classes. I've been taking them online for a while, but attending live classes ramps up the fun." Kay Stevens, independently, names a different instructor for a different class: "Renee is an incredible 8:30 every morning aerobics/cardio instructor." Tom Bateson names a third: "My wife just had 5 weeks of rehab with Carol for an ankle problem. Very pleased with the experience."

Three different staff members - Eileen, Renee, and Carol - named across three separate reviews, each for a distinct service: a named class format, a specific daily aerobics slot, and rehabilitation support. That's a genuinely broad staff roster for a gym this size, worth knowing about if you're looking for a specific kind of instruction rather than general equipment access.

Rehab Services, Confirmed With Specifics

Tom Bateson's mention of his wife's five-week ankle rehab with a named staff member is worth taking as real, structured evidence that this gym offers actual rehabilitation services, not just general fitness classes - a specific duration, a specific injury, and a named provider.

What Long-Term and Newer Members Both Say

Kay Stevens, from 2016, the oldest review here: "I can't say enough good things about this small but full-service gym... The equipment is clean and the people are friendly." Cynthia Ortega, independently, adds a specific specialty: "Very knowledgeable when it comes to gymnastics strength training." Onalee Israel, the newest review from 2023, confirms continuity: "The Fit For Life center is welcoming, and the classroom is spacious and perfectly suited for all types of fitness classes. Very convenient location and parking has never been a problem."

What's Missing

No review states a membership price. Nothing confirms whether Henry's concern about member cleanliness habits improved after his 2020 review. The newest written review is from June 2023, so more recent conditions aren't reflected here.

Who It's Not For

Anyone who needs guaranteed equipment-wiping compliance from fellow members - one reviewer specifically raised this as an ongoing concern serious enough that he considered switching gyms over it. Anyone pricing this out before visiting, since no review gives a figure.

Since the reopening I have made it a point to workout in the off hours: fewer people with more spacing and less chance of others wanting to use the same equipment as me. The one significant concern is my fellow members cleanliness. Unfortunately I have only witnessed two (2) other individuals cleaning the equipment they just used before they walk out the door. It is enough of a concern that if I do not see more efforts by others using the facility I will have to strongly think about changing gyms. I don’t want to do this but everybody should be thinking more about their fellow individuals; and, I have not witnessed any such concern by well over 90% of the people when I’m at the gym. Thank you for listening to me.
