Anytime Fitness Via Benzoni

I am a foreign student in Rome and as soon as I arrived I subscribed to this gym. For the last year and a half it has gone very very well, the trainers and staff are super friendly, it is opened at all times just like it advertises, its clean and warm and filled with all the necessary equipment I need during my workouts. Great overall :)

I’m spending 2 weeks in Rome. They have a 10 day passes for 90€ or 1 day pass for 10€. Eventhough the gym says 24/7 open, that is only for regular costumers, the guy at the front desk told me that for day passes to go from 10am to 8pm. Reasonably well equipped, reasonable variety of machines, it’s not a very big gym so they don’t have the space for more. Nice locker room, plenty of lockers to keep your stuff, don’t know if you can buy a locker from the front desk, I had one with me, so I didn’t ask.

This branch is spacious, bright, and has a good amount of equipment. Except for the evenings it's usually calm which is totally normal. The staff and personal trainers are kind and also speak English. The only problem is not having hairdryer. I was going to the Via Fleming branch previously, and they had brand new fitness equipment, and also hairdryers in the dress rooms. You pay the same money but do not get the same service.

Total bedlam pretty much all the time. I have spent about a year here, just because I live very close. Most people who come here are absolutely disrespectful: weights and handles are all over the place without any order, used paper often goes right on the floor. The cleaning guy apparently doesn't give a damn about cleaning. Soap and paper containers are normally empty. I told the staff several times about it, nothing changed. Most equipment is functionable, though some of the PL benches are old and quite inconvenient. The only reason I give it a 2/5 is because it's nearly empty unless you come here from 5 to 9 pm.
