Hired the sports hall for my son’s birthday. He had an absolutely fantastic time and the staff at reception were brilliant, polite and friendly in helping us whenever we needed it. Nothing to fault.
We've used our local leisure centre for years and love it. Both of our children learned to swim there, and the swimming lessons have been fantastic, helping them gain confidence and important life skills. We visit regularly as a family, and the facilities are always welcoming and enjoyable. The highlight for the kids is definitely the slide, which is a must on every visit! A great local facility with excellent staff, great swimming lessons and plenty of family fun. Highly recommended.
First time visiting, downloaded the app to create my membership card and booking info, the centre is cashless so you can in when you arrive. Booked an early lane swim, 50p for a locker token you keep forever. Lanes are easy, medium and hard and we're about 20 persons swimming at 06.45. Changing facilities are good, generally clean throughout, receptionist was very friendly as we discussed full membership for my return. Free car parking up to three hours but I cycled there and locked my bike in the bike storage just outside.
As a paying membership for my family of 4.. we use the learner pool pretty much daily in the evening for our 5 year old son who can’t walk.. which is good for his therapy.. found out this evening that it was fully booked at 7pm 😡 somebody had mass booked which is totally disgusting… so paying membership members can’t use it.. unbelievable.. that’s my membership cancelled…
When walking the door and asking the lady in reception whether the place was open and do I need to book and she questioned why I thought it wasn’t open because I said sat in the car park outside it looks all closed down overgrown with weeds and the windows, you can see all used for Storage And looks deserted. Then asking whether it was ok to come swimming, I was informed that I had to have an account which she was not able to help me with and I would have to go home to go online to create an account or go to a library as i had no access you internet. Swimming pool had only a handful of people in it I can see why now.
