Puregym London Edgware

I would like to give a personal shout out to Francis who is a PT at Pure gym Edgware! Although im only 6 weeks into my fitness journey, Francis has made the whole process enjoyable and seamless and i can honestly say she explains everything so well, with many of her own tips and tricks added to your sessions . Ill be booking in more sessions with her and would highly recommend any newbie to the gym to start their journey with Francis

I am very happy to give PureGym Edgware a full 5 stars. James and Alex are always attentive and work tirelessly to make everyone feel comfortable. The gym has recently added new equipment, and it makes a noticeable difference - everything feels modern, tidy, and generally well looked after. The space itself is generous, so even when it is busy you never feel cramped. The music is also at a pleasant level and, unlike many other gyms, not irritating or overwhelming. It is simply a comfortable place to exercise, thanks to the management team's hard work and the thoughtful way the gym is run.

Although the gym is quite small, the free weights area is spacious and bright. Not many functional trainer units and get busy. The studio has nice lighting and nice to have a women's only section. Not my usual PureGym but functional, and all the equipment you need.

I've been a member of this gym for several years and have never experienced anything like this before. I recently had another member publicly confront and insult me over what ultimately turned out to be a misunderstanding. While I acknowledge the situation became heated on both sides, I was disappointed by how the complaint was handled by staff afterward. Rather than dealing with the situation in a neutral and professional manner, I felt my concerns were dismissed with comments such as "we know him, he's a good guy." Regardless of who the member is, public confrontations and personal insults in the gym should be handled more appropriately and impartially. I have already emailed management directly because I believe member complaints and conflicts should be taken seriously and managed professionally.

Can't complain about the gym area has all the necessary equipment you would need. But I was incredibly annoyed, disgusted, and frustrated, when I went into the shower after my session, and saw mold on the floors, and walls in every shower cubicle. On top of that, the soap dishes were rusty, and some of the showers were cold and would not warm up. You had to press the shower button every 2 seconds to keep water flowing as it would turn off consistently. This is disgusting, and embarrassing considering this is an Edgware gym. The Men's shower area let's this gym down immensely. I only hope the women's showers aren't the same.
