Old school gym. Pretty decent just needs to fix the water dispenser for cold water
I’ve been coming here for two years now it’s a great place to get a work out but lately our key card has not been getting activated when we pay on time. Last month a week went by before we could use it. Today it’s the same thing normally I’m okay with it because java n juice is open and I can walk in through there but sundays it’s closed and like today we can’t go in even though we paid. It’s just a simple inconvenience. The point of going to 24/7 gym is to be able to go when you please.
It is very dirty. I wear rubber gloves to avoid the potential staph infection. Bathrooms are very clean, but the facility is disgusting and could use a weeks closure and power washing. There are signs everywhere warning to rack weights "or else" but there are constantly weights everwhere... and not just a 35lb or anything... but 10 to 15 45lb weights left on a single machine. We get it. You lift, bro. But could people clean up after themselves? EDIT: So I was at the gym today and something happened that never does... A man arrived with two roombas.... ok. Of course the roombas did not work. WTF is that? Also only one of the treadmills actually works properly.
Time to replace all the cardio machines. They make a ton of noise and the elliptical and row machine are not any better. Forget about having a heart rate monitor they have disabled them on all machines. Loved this place a few years ago but unfortunately they are not replacing old equipment with new equipment. They are just milking every last cent they can out of these old machines.
