Crossfit Playa Del Carmen

😀 I started training Crossfit in 2024 🏋🏻‍♂️ when I moved to Playa del Carmen 🏖️ ☀️ . I visited several gyms, but I didn't feel like I was progressing. It wasn't until I came to Fibonacci and 💥Luis became my personal trainer that I started seeing physical changes, increased strength, and improved endurance. After 5️⃣ months, I've gained three kilos of muscle mass. I feel stronger, more vital, more energetic, and much more confident. 🤜🏽🤛🏼 I'm very happy to be a Fibonacci Athlete. 👉🏽 In the CrossFit world, there are trainers who see it as just another way to earn money, but there are others who pursue their profession because it's their passion and purpose. ▶️ That's what Luis Perez is all about. Without a doubt, training with Luis at Fibonacci is the best place to grow in every way. 👁️ See you there!

I came to CrossFit Fibonacci for the first time when I didn't even know what CrossFit was. The only experience I had was salsa dancing, reggeaton, heels dance classes with some BJJ and pilates here and there. But when I entered CrossFit Fibonacci, my whole life shifted. I got hooked. Even though I absolutely sucked at the beginning, I loved it. The community and the coaches made me feel like a mf champion every time I did a lift, finished a workout, or just showed up. In just a year and a half of training, Luis Perez (my coach) I got to a competitive-level athlete, crushing HYROX competitions, and absolutely transformed my body. It has been less than three years now since I started, and I am a completely new person. I think sharper. I gained control over my mind, thought, so it doesn't stop me from doing what I want. My resilience is 10x, and the performance I have today in sport, I never believed I could ever achieve. I grew and levelled up like six versions of me. Incredible. I joined the classes first, and they got me to an incredible physique. what broke the edge for me and gave me the unfair advantage was joining Luis Perez's personal program. Nothing beats that one. Changed my life. Multiple times. One of the biggest and the precious things for me about CrossFit Fibonacci is the community. The people. They are my friends now. my other family. There have been so many times when I had a harder day, or I was losing momentum during a workout, and someone from the community cheered me up, smiled, hyped up, hugged... - and it totally shifted. My day got turned around, I crushed the workout, and it made me feel so accepted and a part of something bigger. I am forever grateful for the decision to join CrossFit Fibonacci, because it was one of the best decisions of my life. If you never trained CrossFit or Hyrox before, CrossFit Fibonacci is where you do it. If you are a tourist visiting, this is the highest-quality CrossFit box and level you will find in Playa del Carmen. And if you are a competitive or regular CrossFit athlete, you will love it here. The programming and the workouts are designed daily by a CrossFit Games athlete and coach with over 20+ years of experience, and it will make you advance faster than you think. I recommend this gym 10000% by heart and would choose it all over again. Thank you, CrossFit Fibonacci, for everything. Thank you, Luis, for being a living, breathing example of excellence - a leader who walks his talk and leaves everyone better than you found them. You changed my life.

In Dec 2018 my friend Fanny dragged me to a 6 pm class. I was a deer in the headlights. I'll always remember Luis saying to Fanny " are you crazy? You can't throw this guy in a class like that. For the next six months I could not sit on toilet or walk up stairs without " pain " lol. A good pain. I was lucky to find Fibonacci . Made so many friends over the years, and my body has learned new skills I am thankful for. Luis has trained me to live a longer and healthier life. I make good memories everyday But this is one that stands out . I used to go for a beer after CrossFit Six months into my journey Luis said to me " wow Mark look at your progress , when you first came in you used to drink a lot ... I said " Luis, I still do". He said " imagine how much further you could be if you did not drink" That stuck with me. Shortly after that I gave up Alcohol and have not had a drink in almost 7 years. I knew I made progress when I could touch my ass to grass, move my body without pain and go deep into the pain cave and push thru. I'm luck to have a CrossFit games athlete " Luis" train me He always says to me when I struggle "Easy For you Mark, you are a Machine" It took time , small steps at a time. And I notice progress all the time. Just the other day I did my first handstand push up. This after having shoulder surgery two years ago. The environment Luis has created in Fibonacci gives my life "purpose ".. Patricia always smiling when I come in Rodrigo with his encouragement, all the regulars who say hi is very special to me. It truly is the best hour of my day. Luis is not only my coach. He is my psychiatrist, dating coach, motivator , friend, and is like a brother to me. Were it not for that fateful day I came into Fibonacci years ago my life would not have been so fulfilled. Happy 40th bro
