Amazing place to get in a great workout at a very valuable price, whether an individual day pass for $9.79 paying with debit or credit card or $9.50 paying with cash, gets you access to both the gymnasium and fitness center (make sure to check online or with staff about the gymnasium schedule) or a monthly membership for $33.00. The public library is also attached to the building along with another pretty cool feature of having an indoor playground. And the icing on top is the fact that the staff is very friendly, prompt, polite, helpful and personable. It’s definitely worth checking out, and better than most gyms to be honest.
Our wedding reception at the New Brighton Community Center was absolutely wonderful! The event space was perfect for our celebration—it was spacious, bright, and created a beautiful atmosphere for both the dinner and the dance that followed. What truly made our experience exceptional was the incredible staff. From our initial planning stages to the day of the event, every person we interacted with was courteous, friendly, and genuinely helpful. Their amazing support was put to the test when our DJ failed to arrive. Without missing a beat, the community center staff jumped into action. They quickly provided us with a large speaker and helped us connect a phone via Bluetooth, ensuring we could still have music for our first dance and celebrate with our guests on the dance floor. They truly saved the day! We couldn't be more grateful for their quick thinking and dedication. We highly recommend the New Brighton Community Center to anyone looking for a fantastic and supportive venue for their special event!
Not super clean, but super fun. And even though the place was busy this Saturday. It was still easy to climb and find a place to sit and watch too.
