A very good swim centre, outdoor 50 mtr pool, indoor 25 mtr pool, kids pools, sauna, steam room and spa. Very good facilities and a large upstairs gym. Lots of classes in the gym, plenty of lanes for rehabilitation walking, fast, medium n slow swimmers, very good staff, lifesavers always on duty, nice kiosk for refreshments. Parking close by, public transport close too. Wheelchair access to all facilities. An internal lift to all levels.
Superb accessible facilities. Well managed, friendly staff, attentive lifeguards and extremely clean. I’m mindful that privacy law quite correctly restricts photography in general: my images are to illustrate the sparkling 50 metre outdoor and 25 metre indoor pools and not swimmers. There is also a safe, shallow, warm, walk-in, hygienic pool for children, snack bar and, I won’t go on. I’ve noticed across Google reviews that there are occasional contributors obviously having a bad day, possibly unaware their online tantrums remain in the cloud forever. Few of us wake up intending to have a miserable day or determined to perform poor work. It is not a perfect world yet Lane Cove Aquatic Centre is undoubtedly a happy place.
Joining adult swim classes at Lane Cove has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. It’s never too late to start, and the staff here are incredibly friendly, patient, and supportive. The instructors make me feel comfortable and confident in the water. Highly recommend to anyone thinking about swimming lessons🙏🙏
We visited Lane Cove Leisure Centre and had a great experience overall. The facilities are excellent - very clean, well maintained, and the full gym is great. The swimming pools were all clean and well presented. A special mention to Jes, who was incredibly friendly, patient, and helpful. She explained everything clearly, answered all our questions, and took the time to show us around. Her support really made the visit enjoyable. Overall, a fantastic experience - highly recommend!
We have been doing swimming lessons here with my 4 year old for the past 3.5 years and one thing I can say is that it has always been inconsistent, they have some amazing teachers but they always either leave or end up outside of the pool? It’s always unorganised, even to the point of us coming in for a lesson one Saturday only for them to tell us on arrival that the teacher is sick. It’s a beautiful swimming facility with great space and a lovely little cafe but it needs organising.
