Unfortunately! The service was performed poorly and expensively! Enticed by the excellent reviews on Google (5.0 rating), I took my small Kaltmann K-AP4000 generator in for repair. The repair was supposed to involve cleaning the fuel tank and carburetor, which had become clogged due to contaminated gasoline and wouldn't start. The service took longer (I was warned by the service provider), so I used a replacement engine (7-8 hours) because my generator hadn't been repaired yet. Upon pickup, the generator started, tested under load (drill), and shut down after 1 minute. The entire service cost 450 PLN, which significantly exceeded my expectations for such a service. Apparently, many parts were replaced, including seals, a voltage regulator, and oil. The generator stalled after about 3 minutes of operation on the first start-up, and this turned out to be the norm, as it now remains this way. The speed controller stopped working under load and now has to be constantly on the choke. The second time I started it (another day), I had to repair the generator myself in the field. After removing the spark plug, it turned out the spark plug gap was so large that the spark was flying around the perimeter, and fuel was also leaking from the carburetor around the housing. After disassembling the carburetor, it turned out there was a problem with the float, which was stuck. After reducing the spark plug gap and re-assembling the carburetor, I was able to restart the generator. The generator still stalls several times before it starts "normally." In summary: 1. Good communication 2. The possibility of getting a replacement engine was a plus 3. Very high price for the service 4. The service ultimately proved to be poorly performed. Unfortunately, these were two meetings in one, "first and last." I do not recommend this company!
