Ponds Forge International Sports Centre

We went in the family pool. It was good fun, a couple of flumes, a toddler splash pool and a lazy river with floats to grab hold of. Changing rooms were clean and warm although a couple of non- working showers slowed down the getting changed and out of there

Difficult to give an opinion on the sports facilities I went as a spectator to a gymnastics competition which was held in the sports hall. My experience was a very good one all public areas I went in were to a high standard and very clean. The staff I had any engagement with were helpful and courteous. There is an onsite car park which is charged and a cafe serving hot and cold food and a variety of beverages also there are vending machines with drinks and snacks in.

Just been swimming and it was awful. They made us wait 15 mins in the foyer and then we discovered we were in the leisure pool. Only 2 lanes -one of which was taken over by the squad so the other lane was slow -there’s no in between! Also I can’t believe how many members of staff there were but doing much!!!
