I had knee surgery here this week and I am overwhelmed by how exceptional all the staff were! The surgeon(Mr Philip Dobson) did a fantastic job and had excellent bed side manner along with the anesthetist. The nursing staff on the ward were also incredibly friendly and helpful with excellent bed side manner. Would highly recommend this hospital and its Doctors and nurses!

I had a unicompartmental knee replacement with Mr Dawson on 14th May at Nuffield Hospital Newcastle, and I honestly can’t thank him and everyone involved in my care enough. Like most people, I was nervous about having surgery, but from my very first appointment I was made to feel at ease. Every single person I came into contact with was kind, caring and professional. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and I always felt listened to and reassured. Mr Dawson was amazing throughout the whole process. He took the time to explain everything clearly, gave me confidence in the procedure, and I always felt I was in the best possible hands. I’d also like to say a huge thank you to all the nurses, theatre staff, physiotherapists and everyone behind the scenes who cared for me before, during and after my operation. You don’t always realise how many people are involved until you go through something like this, and every single one of you played a part in making what could have been a very worrying experience so much easier. I’m now well on the road to recovery, and that’s thanks to the exceptional care I received. I feel incredibly grateful and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Mr Dawson and Nuffield Hospital Newcastle to anyone needing knee surgery. Thank you all so much.

I had an excellent experience at Nuffield Health Jesmond in Newcastle. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, friendly, and highly professional. The level of care and customer service throughout was outstanding, and it is clear that patient wellbeing is a top priority. The facilities are clean, modern, and very well maintained, which immediately gives confidence in the quality of the service provided. Every member of staff I dealt with was knowledgeable, approachable, and took the time to explain everything clearly, making the whole experience smooth and reassuring. Appointments were well organised, and I never felt rushed at any stage. The professionalism and attention to detail from the team really stood out and made a stressful situation much easier to deal with. The only slight downside is that parking can be quite limited, especially during busy times, so it is worth allowing a little extra time before your appointment. However, this is a minor issue compared to the excellent care and service provided overall. I would highly recommend Nuffield Health Jesmond to anyone looking for high-quality healthcare in a professional and supportive environment.

My first experience of private healthcare and the service was exceptional. Everything is done in such an efficient and timely manner. The staff are absolutely lovely, really caring, and give you their time to chat and make sure your needs are met. Every staff member I encountered was wonderful. Special mention to Nicola, the nurse who looked after me. A very experienced nurse and she was amazing - so thorough in everything she does. Jade the healthcare assistant, so lovely and attentive. The anaesthesia team are fantastic, options were thoroughly discussed pre-op and the process was smooth and well communicated which I appreciated. My consultant, Mr Malvyia, his reputation precedes him, I knew I was in very good hands. Overall I would highly recommend Nuffield Health for a comfortable stay and quality care.

The care was fantastic. From the moment I 'checked in' until the moment I was discharged I felt safe and cared for. Processes and procedures were clearly explained at all times. The staff were competent, efficient, and kind. Although I was there to have a hip replacement, I felt 'at home'. Food was good too. Even after discharge, there were follow up calls to check on my progress and welfare. Fantastic!
