Recently joined as a new member, had a fantastic tour with Seb. He is very knowledgeable and showed / told me everything I needed to know. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Great facilities, lots of classes to do, for every ability. Had a PT session which was great and got shown how to use all the gym equipment. I really enjoy coming. Thanks David Lloyd
Standard David Lloyd. Well equipped. Nice staff. I had a well made vegan breakfast which was great. Nice pool and spa. Weather was bad but the outside area looked well equipment. You need to use your pass for the spa. Plenty of parking
We’ve had a fantastic experience at David Lloyd Cambridge so far and are genuinely very happy with our decision to join. From the very beginning, Tashaan, our Sales Consultant, provided outstanding support — he gave us a lot of time, attention and a truly individual approach. As we were choosing a family membership, it was important for each of us to feel motivated in our own way, and Tashaan managed to find exactly the right approach for everyone. The overall atmosphere at the club is excellent — the team is friendly, welcoming and always happy to help. You really feel supported from day one. We are very pleased with our experience and would highly recommend David Lloyd Cambridge to anyone looking for more than just a Gym.
David Lloyd Cambridge has been one of the most disappointing gyms I have ever been a member of. The customer service is shockingly poor, especially considering the premium prices they charge. The staff often appear uninterested, dismissive, and unwilling to provide even basic customer support. Rather than making members feel welcome, interactions can leave you feeling ignored and frustrated. The biggest disappointment is the management. In my experience, they showed very little interest in listening to or resolving genuine concerns. Instead of taking responsibility and trying to improve the customer experience, they seemed indifferent and unconcerned. It gave me the impression that member satisfaction is simply not a priority. For a club that markets itself as a luxury health and fitness destination, the level of customer care falls far below what anyone should expect. Paying premium membership fees should come with premium service, but that has not been my experience. I left feeling completely let down by the way I was treated. Based on my experience, I would not recommend David Lloyd Cambridge to anyone looking for a gym that genuinely values and respects its members.
**** NOBODY EVER REPLYS FROM THE GENERIC EMAIL ADDRESS. The new manager is never around to talk to. It’s obviously not taken seriously ***** SAVE YOUR MONEY. This is top tier David Lloyd club that is dated, dirty and falling apart. You would think that you were walking into a leisure centre, not a premium wellness club. The head office at DL must be laughing hysterically at their members when they take their money. - Mouldy ceilings & air extraction systems in male and female changing & showers - Blocked / smelly drains - Poor hygiene and low cleanliness standards in the changing areas - Air conditioning frequently broken - Broken gym equipment & machines - Dated / broken cycle studio equipment - Leaking / mouldy roof - Dated pools with algae & slime around the sides - Broken kids splash area & spa facilities - Long food wait times & poor food - No seating in the club room as it is over run with business people - Fobbed off by management when issues are raised, that is if you actually get a reply….
