Absolutely love this gym!. Iv tried so many over the years and this is definitely my favourite. Very rarely any wait times on machines, steam room and sauna are great. Used the sunbeds a few times. They are really good. They have alot to offer, I haven't tried any clases yet!. But I would definitely recommend the gym to others. There is a womens only part which I use at times, but I do find there's better equipment in the main areas. But its nice to have the option there if you want that. There is near enough always someone cleaning the changing rooms, which is good.

Best gym in Kent. They do have a ladies only separate workout room. Sauna in the changing rooms and also where the pool is. Jacuzzi is a bit cold sometimes (for me personally) but I don't mind.

Unfortunately very disappointed with this gym. Some things to note before you get misled or lied to by staff and then get trapped in a contract: - Staff are arrogant and dismissive: no matter what issue you report to them, it is always met with an excuse and it is never fixed. Basically just lie to your face - Car parking is a nightmare: You can park all around the building, but regardless of time/day you'll be circling for upto 15-mins trying to get a spot. Not helped by Kidzone next door. - The pool is dirty and unhygienic: Sediment and black debris clearly visible across the pool floor and floating in the water. Also getting long hairs tangled in your hands and mouth when swimming is a H&S red flag, raising serious concerns with cleanliness. - Pool etiquette is non-existent and not monitored: People bombing in covered in sweat from the sauna and others standing around chatting in the water for over 30-mins at a time, obstructing swimmers and totally oblivious. This is worse after classes and not fair when the pool is already oversubscribed. Maybe instructors could politely encourage people to vacate the pool if not continuing to exercise? - Sauna and steam facilities are constantly broken/don't work properly: The main sauna temperature is inconsistent, possibly due to the bowed door frame that does not seal. The steam room only emits a brief burst of steam every five minutes, a long-standing issue. Other members have confirmed the female changing room steam room has been out of service for well over five years (despite staff still telling you it's being fixed!) and the sauna there is never on. The men's sauna is never above 70°C, so not fit for purpose. - Gym is large but very overcrowded: Especially key resistance machines and free weights areas. Either need to leave more time than required and/or compromise your routine. These issues have been reported to reception on numerous occasions, however there have been no improvements - hence having no choice but to leave this review and make others aware.

*UPDATE* NONE OF THE ISSUES IN ORIGINAL REVIEW ARE RESOLVED, DESPITE OWNERS FALSELY CLAIMING OTHERWISE, OR DENYING THEY EXIST! SEE PHOTOS. AS STATED, ISSUES BLUNTLY DISMISSED AND EXCUSES MADE. PLEASE AVOID. Poor customer service and poorly maintained, tired facilities. Issues reported to staff are bluntly ignored and not dealt with. Approximately 30% of the lockers in the men's changing room are in a sorry state and do not secure shut as the metal catches are badly worn, so pull open even if padlocked - this is incredibly poor as there is often not any secure lockers to leave belongings. Showers are lukewarm at best (cold some days) and always filthy with hair and mud everywhere, only one of the cubicles even locks as all the doors have dropped, tiles hanging off the wall or badly repaired, the list goes on. Saunas are often not properly hot, especially in the changing room. Seat pads on some machines in the gym are taped up, ripped and in a sorry state. No water machines either, in a gym, yep really!!! Clearly this is a place that takes your money with no intention or pride in maintaining or fixing the facilities. I will be leaving when my membership ends, and sadly quite a few others have said the same.
