Netpark Fitness Center is on East Hillsborough Avenue in Tampa. It holds a 4.2 rating from 12 Google reviews. One of those reviews tells you exactly who this gym is for and who should keep driving, so let's start there.

The Equipment Is Old, And A Member Says So Plainly

A member in December 2018, two stars: "It should get 5 stars for convenience and for being affordable but the equipment is definitely from the 90's. But if you like to work out alone with not many people around this is the place for you."

That's one of the more honest reviews I've read. They're not calling it a bad gym. They're saying it's cheap, convenient, empty and dated, and letting you decide whether that's a bargain or a dealbreaker.

Thirty-year-old machines mean worn cables, cams that don't match modern loading, and probably no screens or app integration. If you want a Hammer Strength floor or fresh cardio with a Netflix panel, this isn't it.

But an empty gym at a low price is a genuinely rare thing, and some people would trade every new machine in Tampa for never waiting on a rack.

The Counter-Argument

A member the same month, four stars: "Really good selection of equipment. Can almost always get to use what equipment I want. Desk is manned by a really friendly person who is always cheerful. Showers are very clean."

Notice these two reviews don't actually contradict each other. "Good selection" and "from the 90's" can both be true. And "can almost always get to use what equipment I want" independently confirms the emptiness the two-star review described.

So the picture is consistent: quiet floor, plenty of choice, old kit, clean showers, friendly desk.

A Claim I Can't Check

A member in December 2018, five stars: "Security is getting overhaul for next year. Very clean and super nice staff!"

That review is from December 2018, so the "next year" it refers to was 2019. Whether the security overhaul happened, I have no idea. No later review mentions it, because there are no later reviews: the record stops in December 2018. If security matters to you here, that's a question for the desk rather than something I can answer.

Who It Doesn't Suit

If you train on modern equipment, want classes, or need a gym that publishes its hours, look elsewhere. No opening hours appear in the listing at all, and no phone number either.

If you want to lift alone, cheaply, without queuing for anything? Two separate members are essentially describing that gym.
