This my neighborhood gym and I'm there frequently. It has free weights, machine weights and cardio machines. It is well run, always clean and has great staff. I recommend this place.
What a local gym should be. They have the friendliest staff and trainers. Gym is very clean and there is a variety of equipment. It is on the smaller side compared to other gyms in the area. Those that need more space should keep this in mind. My only wish is that they upgrade their cardio machines to newer models. The belts and treads are showing their age on many of the machines.
AE Fitness is an amazing gym, with a professional and friendly staff. The gym is very clean, well maintained and offers a nice variety of cardio, conditioning and weight-lifting equipment. I've been a member since February 2019 and recently started training sessions with Maura, who is incredibly knowledgeable and supportive. In a few sessions, I've already noticed improvements in muscle tone and strength. Her workouts are always creative and challenging. I highly recommend this gym for all fitness levels and Maura for personal training!
Joined in 2001 and still belong. It's well outfitted, clean and welcoming. A no-stress, non-competitive atmosphere and fair prices make it a pleasure to work out. The trainers I've worked with have been professional, knowledgeable and paid attention to my needs as an individual.
Recently joined AE Fitness Montclair and I love it! About 12 minutes away from my house and rates are a bit higher than my old gym (Platinum Fitness), but you get what you pay for. I have never been more happy! Front desk greets me everyday, it is never crowded, and everyone is just so nice there in general. Total opposite of Platinum.
