Paramount Fine Foods Centre

I've been here for 2 ice skating shows: The Thank You Canada Tour and Rock the Rink and both times the ticket checks to get in took forever and went past the starting time of the shows. Getting to or leaving the arena when several thousand other people are trying to do the same is a nightmare. Overall good facilities but it is annoying to have to deal with poor design of parking lots and entrance.

I really like attending events at this venue as it is constructed in a very user friendly way. This includes everything from the interior floor plan to the outside parking lots. The only thing they need to do is improve on the food selection. I had more hopes for them once they were taken over by a restaurant brand Paramount Foods. They have expanded the food available, but nowhere as much as they could, considering they are run by a huge restaurant company. So hopefully they work on that.

We watched Paw patrol show. Place was pretty good set up for kids show but the most expensive sits in front of scene were not good. Very tight, not good visibility of show for kids. Also all of this kids show are just rip-off. All little kids sit on parents laps but you have to buy full price ticket for them.

Come on Paramount Fine Foods a $3 hot chocolates really!? and it's not even good. I'm at a rink it's cold I want a good hot chocolate. The snack bar here is horrible. Why can't they be more like Iceland, snack bar there is amazing.

I was at Paramount Fine Foods Centre on Saturday November 23rd between 5PM and 7PM for my son's hockey game. I decided I would enjoy in some fires with gravy t the quick food counter between rink 2 and 3. I've been to Paramount restaurants so I know the food is generally good. The 1 star rating is not based on the food, but rather the service which any good purveyor of food would know is just as important. First my order was forgotten and had to ask again as I notice someone who had ordered after me received their fries with gravy before me. I mentioned it to the male worker that I notice a customer who had ordered after me received his before me. There was no apology. What bothered me is what happened next. After I received my order, the employee proceeded to offer a free order of fries to a customer who had ordered coffee right in front of me. As you can imagine how I may have felt as someone who paid $6, received their order late only to witness someone who just ordered, receive a free order. While I'm happy for the gentleman's good fortune, I thought it was bad form to do that in front of customers who had paid for their food. To top it off I looked at the employee and he looked at me as if to tell me I made a mistake by complaining. I work for a prominent customer satisfaction measurements company and this is simply poor form and not becoming of a company such as Paramount Fine Foods. I will not be purchasing any items at Paramount establishments going forward and will be sure to recall this story to friends and family.
