Great place to do yoga, so many options and classes and you really feel it is an amazing hub for yoga. Must highly recommend Gemma's somatics classes, a real necessity in today's high stress, fast-paced world. Thank you.

I found The Yoga Hall when I was looking for a pregnancy yoga class in 2021 and it has felt like my sanctuary ever since. Laura's pregnancy yoga classes were just what my body needed movement wise but they also became the single best thing I did physically and mentally to prepare for birth. The classes are so holistic and grounded and I feel like the best, calm, strong version of myself when I've done a class there. I love that she makes cookies and mint tea and provides such a nice space to stay and connect with people after class- I met people I'm still friends with now. I came back for the postnatal yoga/baby massage classes, for 'normal' yoga classes afterwards and then the pregnancy and postnatal/baby massage classes with my second baby. I'm looking forward to continuing my yoga journey with them and feel I've found a real treasure/community I didn't know I needed but am so glad I discovered it.

We are so fortunate to have this fabulous community of yogis in St Albans. The offering ranges from pregnancy and baby classes, to hatha, kundalini and kirtan chanting. The dedication and expertise of the founders and teachers is second to none. I first came to the yoga hall 11 years ago when my daughter was a baby and I have attended classes regularly since then. Highly recommended ✨

I started Laura’s pregnancy yoga class at 12 weeks and honestly can’t imagine my pregnancy without it. The class was exactly what my body and mind needed — deeply relaxing and beautifully stretchy for all those pregnancy aches, but also incredibly intentional. This wasn’t just a regular yoga class tweaked for pregnancy. Every posture, stretch, and movement had a clear purpose — whether it was easing symptoms or helping us prepare for birth. Laura has an amazing understanding of the pregnant body and brings such a calm, grounded presence to each session. She knew exactly how to support things like hip mobility and pelvic floor health, and just as importantly, how not to overstretch or push too far. But what really stood out was how she helped us mentally prepare for labour — gently encouraging us to connect with our bodies, breathe through discomfort, and build confidence in our ability to give birth. I always left class feeling stronger and more at ease, both physically and emotionally. The class has a warm, supportive atmosphere with zero judgement, and I always looked forward to the cup of tea and home-made cookie afterwards. Sharing tips and experiences with other pregnant women made a huge difference — it felt like a little community. As I got further along in my pregnancy, the class became even more essential. By the final few weeks, it was honestly the only thing that consistently felt good for my body. I found myself doing the movements endlessly at home because they brought so much relief. If you’re pregnant, don’t hesitate — this class is gold.

Lovely, calming studio with attentive instructors and a welcoming feel. I joined a beginner flow after work and left refreshed. Only minor issue: classes can feel a touch crowded.
