A member in May 2024 arrived expecting one thing and found another: "Old building with gym at the 2nd floor. Not what I expected but it's actually a fitness gym, not a gymnasium."
Another member describes something different again: "This place is wide, and is indeed a perfect venue for special events, like the Oathtaking for newly licensed professionals like what I experienced."
So which is it? Reading the reviews together, the answer looks like both. The building is a municipal gymnasium, the kind of wide hall a city uses for ceremonies and indoor sport, and there's a fitness gym on the second floor. An older review mentions it as a "Good place to play indoor games," which fits the same picture.
If you're coming to lift, head upstairs. If you're coming for an event, you want the hall. The address is the same and the experience is not.
