I’ve been training at Commando Temple for 4 years now, proudly representing them in competition and I honestly cannot recommend it enough. The coaches are knowledgeable, supportive, and genuinely care about you, both in and out of the gym. My confidence, discipline, and dedication have grown massively throughout my time training here, whilst also making some lifelong relationships. Come down, push yourself, and take yourself to the next level.

Amazing gym - joined recently and am absolutely loving it. Genuinely looking forward to next session down there. Such a good vibe; super friendly / not intimidating - and a real broad mix of people. And stacks of really interesting / fun / unique equipment alongside the classics. Plus there's an inspiration wall of photos ticking all the big hitters of 80s / 90s action films (deal-breaker). I'm having PT sessions with Matt Strong, who is brilliant and helping me level out a couple of long standing injury niggles - and helping me build strength after years of mainly doing yoga only. Also happens to be a great fella to hang out with & swap parenting war stories. Highly recommend all of the above!

I’ll start very plainly by saying that The Commando Temple is probably the best gym I have ever been to (and I’ve been to a lot of gyms). Aside from the basics, which are all top notch in quality by the way, there is a never ending supply of unique and fun pieces of equipment, including but not limited to: stones maces, sandbags, logs & general heavy hunks of metal to carry around. I will finish by talking about the mat space and martial arts, which is my main gig at the commando temple. It’s a great space, but even better when commandeered by sensei Marcus, an incredible teacher that has introduced me to world of Judo, and has made training there for the past 2 years an absolute blast. Marcus, keep doing what you’re doing cause it’s awesome.

A gym with a great atmosphere, supportive and welcoming community, well-staffed, well-equipped. I’ve been training at the judo gym for over a year and it’s been amazing. Marcus (the sensei) has been a fantastic teacher, supporting the team not just during class, but beyond that with additional strength and conditioning sessions, game planning, attending competitions and much, much more. He’s able to provide everyone with personal attention during class - something rare for martial arts gyms. The classes are affordable, especially if purchasing through the gym’s array of packages. Both the gym and dojo are full of lovely people, and are perfect for people of all abilities, from beginners to hardcore pros. I couldn’t recommend joining the Temple more.
