I had a great experience at this sports club. The staff were really friendly and professional. The facilities were excellent.
I stayed here as a visitor on a business trip to Kagoshima! The facility was beautiful, clean, and comfortable! There was a wide variety of machines! The staff were very helpful and I was able to train comfortably!
The staff's cheerful demeanor left a lasting impression. Regarding the poolside viewing area, perhaps it would be better to direct airflow towards the ceiling to improve ventilation? The bench seating is also quite crowded; I think it's dangerous for three adults to sit there during the pandemic unless the seats are only used on the sides to maintain distance. If limiting the number of people is difficult, then having standing room at the entrance/exit of the viewing area would be an improvement. In these times when temperature checks and disinfection are standard practice, the close contact I observed the other day was concerning.
I used it to use the pool during a trip to Kagoshima, but the lanes were monopolized by swimming lessons and there were few lanes for the general public, making it difficult to use. Also, the bathroom had a strong chlorine smell, so I just took a shower and came out immediately. The facilities were generally a bit old, which was a bit of a downside. The staff were very friendly and I was glad that I could use the massage machines for free.
At 10pm, a woman in her 30s or 40s suddenly came into the changing room of the large public bath, rudely greeted me, looked at me naked, and came to pick up the trash. If it had been the other way around, it would probably have been a scandal, and in this day and age, if you don't make a woman clean, you're in trouble.
