12 gyms in Dublin

Previous pageShowing 21–32 of 32 (page 2 of 2)

Dublin lists 32 gyms in our directory, 27 of them rated on Google, averaging 4.51. The twelve busiest listings run from 4.1 to 5.0, and several have enough reviews to believe.

Which Dublin listings have the most reviews behind them?

We list 32 gyms, so this table shows eleven of the top twelve by review count and nothing beyond them. The twelfth, Altipeak J9 Long Mile Road, is covered below in the text. Where the street field holds a unit number, the Area column shows the nearest named place from the address.

The Marker Hotel Dublin leads on volume with 2236 reviews at 4.5, but the name says hotel, and our data doesn't say what its gym offers or who can use it. Verify before you go. Westpark Fitness is the cleaner find: 4.6 across 611 reviews, and it's the only row that shows hours, amenities, a phone number and a website together. Pearse Street Physio (5.0 from 327 reviews) is named as a physio, not a gym.

Are the 5.0 and 4.9 scores real?

Some are. F45 Training Grangegorman has 5.0 from 101 reviews, a sample big enough to respect. Animal Barbell Gym (4.9 from 63), FBT Gym (4.8 from 62), New Element Fitness GYM (4.8 from 58) and Altipeak J9 Long Mile Road (4.8 from 50) are decent without being decisive. Our guess is that people who review gyms tend to be happy members, so the 4.1 of Ben Dunne Gym Sandyford on 231 reviews isn't a weak result.

Why do so many Dublin addresses start with a unit number?

Because many listings give a unit, block or floor where a street name would normally sit. The street values in our data include Unit 3, Unit 1, Block 1 and First Floor, plus UCD Campus. FLYEfit's street field simply repeats its own name. Place names inside the addresses help: Sandyford appears twice, for Ben Dunne Gym Sandyford and Raw Gyms Sandyford, and Coolmine appears twice, for FLYEfit and Animal Barbell Gym. Tallaght, Walkinstown and Blanchardstown show up as well.

What about prices and hours?

We don't have prices for Dublin and won't invent any. Across the 32 listings, 6 show opening hours, 11 a phone number, 25 a website, 7 photos and only 3 amenities. Is it worth signing a contract on a rating alone when the club's own site lists the fee?

What the scores here mean

Google is the source of every score and review count on this page, refreshed regularly. Of the 27 rated gyms, 20 sit at 4.5 or above, but a score only counts when the review column backs it.
