Connect Gym Navigator to Raycast

Raycast AI supports MCP servers, so the coach becomes a global hotkey on your Mac. Hit your Raycast shortcut, ask for a workout, and you never even open a browser. I find this is the fastest way to log a set the moment you finish it.

Setup, step by step

    Open Raycast AI settings

    Launch Raycast, open the AI section in settings, and find MCP Servers. Raycast AI is a paid feature, so you'll need an active subscription.

    Add a remote MCP server

    Add a new server with the URL https://coach.gymnavigator.com/mcp. Name it Gym Navigator. Raycast connects and loads the tool list.

    Approve and test

    Approve the tools, then open Raycast AI chat and ask "Find a gym near me in Berlin." The results come back with Gym Navigator links you can open instantly.

Good to know

  • Raycast AI requires a subscription. The connector itself stays free.
  • Great for quick lookups and logging. For running a full timed session, open the plan link in a browser.

What to ask once it's connected

The connector exposes eight tools. You never call them by name, you just talk, and Raycast picks the right one. Each tool has its own page with example prompts:

Track your progress Compute volume, estimated 1RM, and trend for one exercise or overall.
